For participation in our KCHC Senior Graduation Ceremony, we require KCHC membership by May 1st of the student's junior year.

KANSAS CITY HOMESCHOOL CONNECTION WAIVER

Being of lawful age, in consideration of participation in ALL activities for April 2027 through August 2028 school year, and organized, run and/or operated by Releasee, WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE the Releasee, its owners, officers, directors, members and successors of the above noted activity and each of their officers, from all liability for or by reason of any damage, loss, or injury to person and personal property, even injury resulting in death of the Releasor, which has been or may be sustained in consequence of the Releasor's participation in the activity described above, and notwithstanding that such damage, loss or injury may have been caused solely or partly by the negligence of the Releasee.

I hereby acknowledge and agree that I have carefully read this Waiver and Release agreement, that I fully understand same, and that I am freely and voluntarily executing same. By signing this release I will be forever prevented from suing or otherwise claiming against the Releasee for any property loss or personal injury that I, or any family members, may sustain while participating in or preparing for any activities during the school year. I understand that I, nor any family members, would not be permitted to participate in any activities unless I sign this Waiver and Release agreement.

This release contains the entire agreement between the parties to this release and the terms of this release are contractual and not merely a recital.

UNDERSTANDING OF OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

Although there are many reasons families choose to educate their children at home, the majority who belong to Kansas City Homeschool Connection (KCHC) are motivated by Christian principles, acknowledging Jesus Christ as Lord. These Christian beliefs which guide most of our members will be evident in the activities and expressions of this organization.

Our goals are

1) to encourage each other toward educational excellence,

2) to foster relationships among the children, our families, and each other, and

3) to help new home-educators get started, while also being a resource of shared collective information & experiences for all.

While it is not our intent to exclude those whose beliefs differ from ours, it is our desire that all support group activities operate in harmony and unity; therefore, all members and prospective members should understand that Christian beliefs and principles determine the direction and leadership of this homeschool organization.

That said, the members of the Kansas City Homeschool Connection Board of Directors and Senior Leadership Team are required to agree to our Statement of Faith, but acceptance of this faith statement is not required of our general membership.

PHOTOGRAPHY RELEASE

I hereby grant KCHC my permission to use my and/or my family's likeness, to include photographs/video taken at KCHC officially sanctioned events for any legal use, including but not limited to: publicity, copyright purposes, illustration, advertising, and web content, during the time period of this membership. Furthermore, I understand that no royalty, fee or other compensation shall become payable to me by reason of such use.

If I select no below and my and/or my family's likeness, including photographs/videos is posted, I will immediately contact an admin for its removal. I understand that the other members of KCHC may not know my choice to not have my or my family's likeness used as stated above. I will contact them directly using our member directory and ask them to refrain from using it.

All Senior Class families must check "Yes, I grant permission" as the Senior Class year is photographed and videos taken throughout. (1 required) Yes, I grant permission

Payment Instructions

Payment for membership dues can be made with our online Paypal options (which includes debit/credit) below. Once you submit your registration, you will be prompted to login using the login/password that you just created.
